This piano riff is reminiscent of a Latin montuno and is a ton of fun to jam over. The first 8 measures (Am7 to Gsus4) is derived from the C major scale and could be described as a VI to V progression. A blues/minor pentatonic will sound great over this. The next section goes through a series of minor chord variations that all uses their own unique take on the minor scale. Amin/G# is best soloed over with using the A harmonic minor scale or A jazz minor scale. Amin/F# will sound great with the A dorian mode. The rest can be a combo of A blues and natural minor sounds. 130 BPM.
Recommended Scales: A blues/minor pentatonic, A harmonic minor, A jazz minor, A aeolian, A dorian.
